The Grill Cleaning Guide

As we move into the last half of summer *yeesh...can you believe summer is already halfway over?*...it’s likely that your grill has gotten some hefty usage.

Earlier this year, I invested in a Traeger wood pellet grill. And it’s amaaaaazing. I stopped cooking on my stovetop for most of the summer to enjoy the convenience of throwing the pellets in and putting food on the grill while I do other things. I love that it’s less hands on and more cleanup friendly. Until last week that is, when I noticed black tar leaking from my grill. Halt the cooking...cue the grill cleaning session.

Grill cleaning is my least favorite cleaning task. I'd rather be sipping a margarita on a beach or hiking a mountain. But here I am...and it's not going to clean itself. Grills rarely come fully clean. And, they get dirty quickly. Although, it's a necessary maintenance task to keep your grill operating in tip top shape.

I created a guide to help walk you through the nitty gritty details of grill cleaning. It's a dirty job and I believe in you! There’s nothing like basking in the glow of your sparkling-clean-job-well-done on the other side of your hard work. Go get em' tiger.
